I teach an in-person senior fitness class every week. Before I ever taught it, I started practicing the routines on my own.

For myself, I’d increase the pace, add a little weight, or push the intensity just enough. Sometimes the exercises were challenging all on their own. And over time, I noticed a difference: my balance improved, my core felt stronger, my energy and mood were better, and even my overall appearance started to change.

I’m not a professional personal trainer. I’m not a fitness guru or a hardcore workout person. I’m just a woman who was asked to get certified and teach a senior fitness class and decided to actually do it for myself too.

This is an approximately 30-minute workout class designed to be effective, realistic, and approachable.

  • We start with a gentle warm-up and end with a cool-down

  • The workout follows an interval-style format

  • Each exercise is done for 50 seconds, followed by a 10-second rest

  • Movements focus on strength, core, balance, coordination, and overall energy

  • You’re always encouraged to move at your own pace and modify as needed.

Yoga with Brittany

A supportive, approachable practice designed to help you slow down, reconnect with your body, and move with intention.

This class focuses on gentle strength, mobility, balance, and breath. Creating space to tune in to how your body feels rather than how a pose looks. You’ll be guided through movements that support everyday life, stress regulation, and overall well-being, with options offered so you can meet yourself where you are.

This is not about flexibility goals, advanced poses, or pushing through discomfort. It’s about consistency, awareness, and learning to trust your body again - one breath and one movement at a time.

Whether you’re new to yoga or returning after time away, you are welcome here exactly as you are. No prior yoga experience is required. You don’t need to be flexible, coordinated, or “good at yoga” to participate. This class is designed to support consistency, confidence, and connection to your body. Come as you are. Move at your own pace. Rest when you need to.
